“Molten Deevo” whistle the new sound at U20 Pan Am Cup

 

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, May 9, 2017.- “Molten Deevo” whistle is the new sound used by referees at the fourth edition of the U20 Women’s Pan American Cup that kicked off on Monday at San Jose, Costa Rica.

 

“Molten Deevo” whistle is now being used by referees thru out the American Continent thanks to the efforts of the NORCECA Volleyball Confederation that has been delivering this important tool in this year’s Pan-American events.  

 

The official presentation of “Molten Deevo” was during the U19 Boys’ Pan American Cup in Monterrey, Mexico; it was also delivered in Havana, Cuba at the U18 Girls’ Pan American Cup and now the referees at the U20 Women’s Pan American Cup also have been introduced with this innovated whistle.

 

Arateide Caceres, NORCECA Director of National Federations accompanied by Jose Luis Jimenez Lao, Director of Competition, was in charge of handing out Deevo whistles to the international referees from Norceca and South American region appointed to the tournament.
