Panama dominates Group N individual awards

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 23- Panama’s Captain- Joanna Arroyo pouched the Most Valuable Player Award in Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships Qualification, which concluded here at the Laborie Indoor Facility. Arroyo, on her way to the top accolade, secured the awards of Best Scorer and Best Spiker.  More

Panama swamps Haiti to win Group N Gold

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 23-  Panama  underlined their dominance of Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility, with a commanding 3-0 (25-18, 25- 20, 25- 16) over Haiti to win the gold  medal. The Panamanians were celebrating as early as the beginning third set, after taking sets one and two, confident of pouching the top spot. More

Dominica routs Grenada to win Group N bronze

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 23-  Dominica clobbered Grenada 3-0 (25-16, 25-7, 25-19) to win the bronze medal  of  Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility. The loss condemned the host to their fourth defeat, as they failed to win a set from either of their three opponents. More

Panama heads to gold medal match unbeaten

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 23- Panama confirmed their status as the lone team to finish the preliminary round of the Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships Qualification, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility, easily  taking out Grenada 3-0( 25- 19, 25- 10, 25- 11.) It was Grenada’s third successive loss, all by 3-0 margins. Panama finished with a 3-0 win/ loss record and faces Haiti in the title match, in tonight’s capper. Haiti off loads Dominica to strike for gold

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 23- Haiti redeemed themselves following their loss to Panama to oust a determined Dominica  outfit 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-23 ) in match five  of  Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility. The win assured Haiti a shot at the gold medal, as well as a place in the third round of the qualifiers. Haiti completed their three matches in the preliminary round. More

Dominica dismantles Grenada to record first win

ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 22- Zahido Henry and Marcia Gustave both scored ten points each to fillip Dominica’s 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25- )win at the expense of Grenada in match four of  Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility. ST GEORGE , Grenada, June 22, 2013- Panama rebounded well after losing the first set, to outlasts  a youthful Haiti outfit 3-1( 19-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-18), to go top of Group N of the Second Round of the NORCECA Women’s 2014 World Championships, here at the Laborie Indoor Facility. Haiti stops Grenada in straight sets

St GEORGE , Grenada , June 22, 2013- Haiti wasted little time in trumping Grenada  3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-17) in the second match of  Group N of the NORCECA women’s Second Round of the 2014 World Championships at the Laborie Indoor Facility. Captain Carline Pierre and Rose Mileine Louis, each scored nine points for Haiti, while Grenada’s topscorer was Renisha Staffiord with eight points.  More

Panama dumps Dominica in Group N

ST GEORGE, Grenada, June 22, 2013- Panama put aside the jet lag to dispose of Dominica in an uncomplicated manner3-0 (25-21, 25-10, 25-18) in the opening duel of  Group N of the NORCECA Second Round of the 2014 World Championships on Saturday morning at the Laborie Indoor Facility. Led by Joanna Arroyo, who registered 15 points and Yokhanny Comrie’s 10 points, roll started Panama’s journey in the group, as they secured five points for the 3-0 win.   More
