EDMONTON, Canada, May 20, 2018 - Cuba won its final match and the NORCECA Women’s Challenge Cup bronze medal after a 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-13) victory over Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday. EDMONTON, Canada, May 18, 2018, Cuba dominated Nicaragua today 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-10) at the NORCECA Women’s Challenger Cup in Edmonton, Canada. Sulian Matienzo Linares was Cuba’s top scorer with 13 points. The Challenger Cup was originally a six-team tournament, but Costa Rica withdrew at the last minute due to travel issues. MAY 17, Edmonton, CANADA: Canada won its first match of the NORCECA Women’s Challenge Cup over Trinidad and Tobago 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-22).
