International Referees Course concludes successfully in Santo Domingo

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, August 9 2012 – The International Referees Course concluded successfully this Thursday with an official closing ceremony at the FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican capitol.

 

A total of 17 referees were certified after approving their practical session. Course Director, José Ramón Perez Vento was satisfied for the results. All referees showed unity and a great wish to succeed.

 

Perez Vento attended to the closing ceremony as well as Dominican Confederation President, Alexis Garcia, and Angel Rivas, Vice-President of the same organization. Some other personalities were Norceca VIS Director, Bienvenido Mateo; FIVB Instructor Juan Angel Pereyra and Yohanna Mota, of the FIVB Regional Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

 

The countries represented in this course were Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Saint Vincent and The United States of America.
