Belize defeats Nicaragua for first win

TEGUCICALPA, Honduras, July 18, 2019 - Belize defeated Nicaragua 3 sets to 0 (25-18, 25-16, and 25-14) for its first victory in the 18th Central American Women's U20 Championship, which takes place in the Gym # 2 Jorge Galeano of the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The victory leaves the Belizeans with 1 victory and 2 defeats, and sends the Nicaraguans to the cold basement after going winless in three outings.
