Lodz, Poland, September 30, 2022.- Canada played
its fourth match this Friday against Bulgaria,
getting its second victory in this Women's
Volleyball World Championship.
The Canadians needed four sets to get out of the
big door against the Bulgarians, defeating them
with a score of 3-1 (25-21, 25-27, 25-20,
25-15), surpassing them in attacks (68-47) and
in services. (5-2) while both teams were equal
in blocks with 5 apiece.
Kiera Van Ryk with 22 points, Alexa Gray with 19
and Hilary Howe with 17 were the most
outstanding for Canada, while for Bulgaria the
best were Elitsa Atanasijevic with 18 points and
Miroslava Paskova who added 16.
Canada's next match will be against Germany on
October 1. |
