BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, December 13, 2015 - Curaçao took the
bronze at the 10th CAZOVA championship by outlasting Haiti boys
in five tough sets at the Wildey Gymnasium in Bridgetown.
Curaçao won the marathon 25-20, 22-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13 with
Shruendy Valeriano scoring a match high 33 points. He received
great support from Marlison Kleinmoedig, 21, and Gideonis
Eisden who contributed 17 points.
Haiti never gave up and battled all of the way with Denilson
Paul making 19 points and Love Cothiere adding 17. Both teams
were almost equal in every facet with Curaçao's superior attack
landing them the bronze. |
