Rico receives best wishes message from NORCECA

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 12, 2012 – Ramon Rico, one of the founding members of NORCECA Volleyball Confederation, recently was visited by Mushtaque Mohammed at his home in Willemstad, Curacao, where the two shared the memories of experiences lived throughout the years in the sport.

Rico, who turned 92 last November, was one of the founders of NORCECA Confederation together with Ruben Acosta Hernandez of Mexico, Jacques Joachim of Haiti and Jose Remon of Panama.

Mohammed of Trinidad & Tobago, and president of CAZOVA, visited him during the NORCECA First Round World Championship Qualification Tournament held in Willemstad.

“I had the opportunity to extend Mr. Rico a best wishes message from our president, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, and from all the members of the NORCECA Board of Administration,” Mohammed said.
