USA Volleyball awarded in both genders

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 6, 2012 – USA finished atop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball rankings in both genders as the 2012 Circuit concluded last Sunday in Oranjestad, Aruba.

 

Nelson Ramirez, general manager of NORCECA, accompanied by Arnaldo Sánchez, president of the beach volleyball commission, presented two checks of US$5,000 to the national federation of USA represented by the American players who competed in Aruba.

 

In 2012, teams of USA totaled 1,440 points in both genders followed by Canada whose teams had 1,240 in the men’s division and 1, 305 in the women’s.

 

The NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit consisted of 11 tournaments including two in Mexico. The tour visited also Cayman Islands, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, United States, Saint Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago and Aruba.
