Dominican Referees discuss rules criteria

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 26, 2018 – The referees nominated to officiate matches of the National District Superior Volleyball Women’s League met on Friday with the authorities of volleyball in the Dominican Republic capital.

The gathering was prepared by the Regional Development Center to homologate criteria regarding the rules of the game to be in force for the competition scheduled to begin on April 6.

The meeting was chaired by Salvador Bautista, president of the Refereeing commission of the Dominican Volleyball Federation and member of the NORCECA Commission.

Nelson Ramirez, technical director of the tournament, said the organizing committee continues to work on all the details related with the four-team competition.

The teams of Mirador, Cristo Rey, Guerreras and Caribeñas will participate in the tournament with their rosters filled by all the players coming out of the women’s program of the Dominican Federation under the responsibility of Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.
