The president of the Final Four U20 Control Committee, Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz, explained that of the 12 athletes presented, only five are eligible: Evilania Martínez, Thalia Moreno Reyes, Ailama Cese Montalvo, Yamisleydis Viltres Pacheco and Ivy May Wittingham. Given the situation it was allowed, in order to complete the six starting team that will compete officially, the participation of libero player Lianny Tamayo Canton in the official matches of the event.
