Four-day Seminar for Setters in Port of Spain

 

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, November 20, 2013 – An International Seminar for Setters opened on Tuesday in Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad & Tobago, with participants from the zones of CAZOVA, ECVA and AFECAVOL.

 

Twenty five coaches and players, twelve of them from foreign countries and thirteen from Trinidad & Tobago, will benefit of the instructions from the director of the seminar, Tony Westman.

 

The four-day seminar will conclude on November 22, informed Yohanna Mota, Vice Director of the Regional Development Center in Dominican Republic, which is coordinating the activity.

 

NORCECA Confederation is supporting the course by sponsoring the participation of eleven individuals through its program of scholarships.

 

Mushtaque Mohammed, President of CAZOVA and of NORCECA Development Commission, and Daymian Stewart, President of the Trinidad & Tobago National Volleyball Federation, attended the opening ceremony.

 

The participants hail from Aruba, Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, French St Martin, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, St Vincent & Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago.
