defeated Belgium 3-1 (25-22, 25-21, 22-25,
25-22) on Thursday improving its win-loss record
to 3-3 at the FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations
League
The Canadian victory relied on the heavy
firepower of Alexa Gray and Kiera Van Ryk, its
two big cannons, who scored 24 and 22 points,
respectively.
The Canadians claimed the win despite giving
away 22 points compared to only 14 by the
Belgiums. The North Americans got compensation
with their 69-50 advantage in attacks.
Belgium’s Britt Herbots led all the players in
the match with 29 points. |
