Canada Wins Battle Against Costa Rica at NORCECA U17

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, November 5, 2025. – Canada earned a straight-set victory (25-18, 25-22, 25-18) over Costa Rica in Pool A action of the 2025 NORCECA Girls’ U17 Continental Championship at the Gimnasio Nacional in San José. On the final day of the preliminary round, Canada (1-1) will face Suriname (0-2), while Costa Rica (1-1) will take on undefeated Dominican Republic (2-0). The event serves as a qualifier for the 2026 FIVB Girls’ U17 World Championship. Canada led in attacking points (42-20) and service aces (9-1).  More Español

Dominican Republic Defeats Suriname for Second Win at NORCECA U17

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, November 5, 2025. – The Dominican Republic earned its second victory at the 2025 NORCECA Girls’ U17 Continental Championship, defeating Suriname 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-13) at the Gimnasio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica. The Dominican Republic improved to 2-0 in Pool A and will face host nation Costa Rica in their final pool-play match. Suriname, now 0-2, will meet Canada. The first-place team in each pool advances directly to the semifinals in the tournament, which also serves as a qualifier for the 2026 FIVB Girls’ U17 World Championship. More Español

Puerto Rico Picks Up First Win at NORCECA Girls’ U17

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, November 5, 2025. – Puerto Rico earned its first win at the 2025 NORCECA Girls’ U17 Continental Championship after defeating Cuba 3-1 (25-13, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16) at the Gimnasio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica. With the win, Puerto Rico improved its record to 1-1 in Pool B, while Cuba dropped to 0-2. USA Beats Defending Champion Mexico at NORCECA Girls’ U17

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, November 5, 2025. – The United States defeated defending champion Mexico in straight sets 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-15) in Pool B action at the NORCECA Girls’ U17 Continental Championship being held at the Gimnasio Nacional in San José, Costa Rica.
