Inspection at the IV Men’s U23 Pan American Cup venue


GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, October 14, 2018. - Members of the IV Men’s U23 Pan American Cup control committee held an inspection visit to the Multisport Dome in Guatemala City, official venue of the event that gets underway on Monday.


The supervisors were pleased to see that the court is set for competition. All the facilities were inspected, as well as the meeting room prepared for the teams’ preliminary enquiries scheduled for Sunday.


The organizing committee presided by Guatemalan National Federation, Aida Boesche, presented the petition to change the competition schedule to the control committee president Felix Sabio and the competition director Ariel Sainz, who approved the new schedule.


The two daily matches will be at 3:00 and 6:00 pm (local time) from Monday to Friday, while the matches for medals will be held at 2:00 and 4:00 pm on Saturday 20th .


Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru and host Guatemala are the competing teams at the fourth Men’s U23 Pan American Cup, event that starts the qualifying process for the 2021 FIVB age-group World Championship.
