International Level I Seminar begins in Tijuana, Mexico

 

   

TIJUANA, Mexico, May 3 2015 - The International Volleyball Seminar for Level I coaches was officially inaugurated at the NORCECA-FIVB Regional Development Center in Baja California.

 

A total of 18 coaches take this seminar under the direction of Cuban instructor Argelio Hernandez, who addressed a motivational message to the attentants and also remarked a great expectation after being appointed by the FIVB for such a special mission.

 

Professor Hernandez had previously worked in Tijuana by sharing his knowledge and experiences in 2012 and now he is back for this seminar with the suppor ot Humberto Rodriguez, another international instructor.

 

The official opening declaration of the course was made by Alberto Arreola Sanchez, President of the Norceca Finance Commission and Member of the FIVB Finance Commission.

 

The course began on Sunday at the High Performance Center. For a total of 11 days, the coaches will update all their knowledge and will get new experiencies according to the instructors.

 

It is scheduled to finish on May 14, after the last evaluations for the coaches to be certified at the Closing Ceremony. Some of the coaches who have attended to this course are in preparation for the National Junior Olympic Championships, whose volleyball contest is scheduled to begin a couple of days later in Monterrey, Mexico.
