Ingrid Morales and Natalia Alfaro win the Central American BVB title undefeated

 

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador, July 22 2012.- Ingrid Morales and Natalia Alfaro de CRC-1 took the Central American Beach Volleyball title for the second consecutive time defeating Elia Torres and Swan Mendoza in the final match 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) at the 12th Central American Beach Volleyball Championship.

 

Ingrid Morales and Natalia Alfaro of CRC-1 won the title undefeated and without losing a set, dominating the whole championship. The champs moved on to the gold medal match defeating the locals Diana Romero and Marcela Avalos of ESA-1 in semifinals by 2-0 (21-8, 21-17).

 

“This is our fourth title together, second consecutive” said Ingrid Morales. “This is the result of a continuous workout and practice, and even if we’ve been ill during the tournament as athletes we were able to do things right” she added.

 

Katherine Quesada and Eugenia Ramirez of CRC-2 won the bronze medal by a score of 2-1 (19-21, 21-16, 15-8) defeating Romero/Avalos of ESA-1.
