Bosio carries Argentina to the finals at U-18 Cup

TIJUANA, Mexico, July 7 2011 - Priscila Bosio scored 21 points as Argentina defeated Peru 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 25-22, 25-15) to claim the ticket to the finals at the Girls’ U18 Pan American Cup.

Along with Bosio, Natalia Cendan converted 10 points, followed by Antonela Fortuna with 9. On the Peruvian side, Milagros Rodriguez finished with 11, while Reyna Orellano and Izabot Bravo tallied 10 each one.

“We had some moments when we were down in the score, but we knew how to solve them to win,” said Bosio. 

“This was not a very nice match for us, maybe because of the lack of International experience on our side and some injuries. I think that really affected us,” said Rodriguez.
