Larson-Burbach named MVP at European Champions League

 

   

SZCZECIN, Poland, April 5, 2015 -  A perfectly organized Final Four tournament of the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League-Women came to an end with an attractive and emotional awarding ceremony, which culminated with CEV President André Meyer handing the trophy over to the new club champion of Europe – Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL. 

 

The fans at the Azoty Arena in Szczecin erupted when the captain Esra Gumus Kirici lifted the cup in a moment of sporting glory.

 

Following an exciting light show with several songs performed by Polish pop-star Natasza Urbanska, which further fired up an already thrilled crowd on the stands, President Meyer first presented a memory plaque to the president of the organizing club Chemik POLICE Joanna Zurowska.

 

The presentation of the Fair Play award and the members of the Dream Team was next with the top honour of being declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Final Four tournament going to Eczacibasi VitrA’s outside spiker Jordan Larson-Burbach.
