GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, May 5, 2016 – An International Level
I Coaches Course opened in Guatemala on May 2 organized by its
National Federation.
Coaches hailing from all departments of Guatemala are attending
the course that forms part of the FIVB Program Volleyball Your
Way. The event runs until May 6.
The theoretical and practical instructions are taking place at
the Alfonso Gordillo Volleyball Complex in the capital of
Guatemala which is under the management of the Guatemalan
Federation.
NORCECA Confederation is contributing to the implementation of
these courses throughout all its region of influence, especially
in favor of the NF Category I and II.
Magnolia Escobar, general manager of the Guatemalan Federation
said the entity is culminating a process of providing its main
national coaches with the proper tools to promote volleyball in
their communities.
Volleyball and Beach Volleyball have experienced a fast growth
in the Central American country with their age-group teams in
both genders taking part in zonal and regional competitions. |
