BOCA CHICA, Dominican Republic, March 3, 2010 –
Cubans Karell Piña and Sergio Gonzalez and
Mexicans Aldo Miramontes and Juan Virgen are the
first semi finalists of the men’s Boca Chica
Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Piña and Gonzalez topped Seth Burnhham and Lucas
Wisniakowski of USA-1 by score of 2-0 (21-12,
21-16) and Miramontes and Virgen defeated
Yewddys Perez and German Recio of Dominican
Republic 2-0 (21-17, 21-16).
Daniel Erazo and Eric Hadock of PUR-2 also
advanced to the semi final round with a 2-1
(16-21, 21-18, 15-9) victory over Seth Burnham
and Lucas Wisniakowski of USA-1.
The final-four round was completed when
Dominicans Perez and Recio defeated Marcin
Jagoda and Stafford Slick of USA-2, by score of
2-0 (21-11, 21-14).
