Mexicans Virgen and Ontiveros will play in Boca Chica

BOCA CHICA, República Dominican, September 30,2019 - Mexicans Juan Virgen and Lombardo Ontiveros, the most successful men’s couple in the history of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit will be among the elite teams that will see action in the 2019 Hamaca Final that will be played from Friday to Sunday in the traditional hotel resort of Boca Chica,

Virgen, who has won 26 gold medals and 35 in total, and Lombardo with 13 titles and 21 medals, are the owners of record of most wins in a season with 6 in 2013.

The Mexicans are part of the group of 16 couples of men who will compete for total prizes for US$ 10,000 plus as well as valuable points that will count in the FIVB rankings.

Another interesting couple is that of Rubén Mora and Dany Lopez of Nicaragua, who has been very successful in the current season.

Mora won the gold in Punta Cana with Denis López as a partner with whom he won one silver in Varadero. Playing with Dany he obtained the bronze in Cayman Islands.

Guatemalan Andy Leonardo and Luis García, winners of second place in Nicaragua and third in La Paz, Mexico are also registered.

The United States will be represented by Ryan Doherty/Miles Evans and Jacob Gibb/Taylor Crabb, while Canada will have the partners of Jake McNeil / William Hoey and Simon Fecteau-Boutin / Ivan Reka.

The Dominican couples are those of Alex Medina/Rolphy López and Jean Carlos Espinal /Ezequiel Raymer.
