Mexico finishes undefeated in preliminary round

SANTO DOOMINGO, Dominican Republic, July 1, 2018 - Mexico concluded undefeated (3-0) the qualifying round with a victory on Sunday in four sets (23-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-18) over the Dominican Republic and will play on Monday the least risky semifinal against Guatemala, in the Men's International Volleyball Cup "Horacio-Chichí-Mazara, which takes place until Tuesday at the Gioriver Arias Palace of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.

The defeat of Dominican hosts and current champions of Central America and the Caribbean, as third place, will face in the semifinal 'B' to Chile (second), which had beaten them on Friday night in four sets.
