In the women’s division, USA got a second place finish at Maracas after it only needed a third place (160) points to get the bonus prize of 2013.

In the end USA led by Heather Hughes and Lane Carico had two wins together while Carico also partnered Sarah Hughes for one win to end with 2,020 points just ahead of Canada 1,980 which just came up short despite Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas' victory in T&T to add to their opening season gold medal in Cayman Islands in March while their countrywomen Heather Bansley and Caleigh Whitaker were third.
