Morales participates as instructor in Coaches Course
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, September 23, 2013 – The Level I Coaches
Course in Costa Rica continued during the weekend with
theoretical and practical sessions of beach volleyball under the
direction of Ingrid Morales, a veteran national player.
All the 39 participants in the course traveled to the
municipality of Hatillo, near San Jose where the beach
volleyball facilities are located.
Morales, winner of a collection of Central American titles,
exchanged ideas with the participants and explained the tactics
and techniques of beach volleyball, emphasizing on the
difference with indoor volleyball.
She stressed on the physical shape the players need and the
drills to develop the natural skills of the athletes.
“It is very important to understand the fundamentals of beach
volleyball and the different game situations,” Morales
explained. “I am pretty satisfied with the interest of the
participants to know more about our sport.”
The day-long activity concluded with the participants taking
part in several friendly matches.
Jorge Perez Vento, director of the course, expressed his
satisfaction for the integration of the participants to such
long and intensive course saying that “when volleyball becomes a
passion Saturdays and Sundays don’t exist.” |
