SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, April 21, 2015 – The Puerto Rican
Volleyball Federation will host a Volleyball Festival with the
participation of over 300 teams from the island and foreign
countries.
The event will take place from July 30 to August 2 at the San
Juan Convention Center in fourteen age-group divisions in both
genders.
“It is the biggest event of our federation to cap the summer
activities and we are expecting a record of participants,” said
Nelson Perez Cruz, president of the Puerto Rican Federation.
The festival includes categories starting from 4-6 years old to
the U23 years old with each team playing at least seven matches.
“It is a big effort to promote the practice of volleyball in
Puerto Rico and to help the cultural exchange between people
from different nations,” Perez Cruz added.
