Nicaragua and Guatemala still undefeated in men’s division

 

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador, December 10, 2016 – The men’s pairs of Nicaragua-1 (López/Cascante) and Guatemala (Chacón/Flores) finished first in their respective pools at the end of the qualification phase of the IX Central American Junior Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday.

 

Dennis López and Jefferson Cascante concluded undefeated in Pool A in three outings by defeating Allan Quintero and Daniel Ulloa of Costa Rica 21-9, 21-16.

 

Meanwhile, Guatemalans Wagner Chacón and Erik Flores also finished with a perfect record in Pool B winning their four matches.

 

They won 21-14, 21-16 over Jiménez/Dinarte of Nicaragua-2 and closed their day with a 21-11, 21-12 over Brandon and Bradley Sanchez of Honduras-2.
