Desmond James Coach of the St. Vincent seemed unperturbed by the defeat. " I am not disappointed in the girls because I know they gave their best. Going forward we have to reduce our service errors and learn how to manage a game when we have taken the lead," he said.

Captain Suzanna Ollivere of St.Vincent was gracious in defeat. We can hold our heads high knowing that we put in a great effort and came up short. Credit must go to the opponents who played a really strong game. I am confident now that we will do much better in our final game," she surmised.

Coach Albert Loblack of Dominica celebrated his team's performance with an 'I told to so' attitude. The girls played with high energy and really demonstrated what we were practicing. I am not surprised because I am aware that  they can play at a high level," he reported.

Captain Anna Maria Xavier commented on her role when the chips were down. "I kept telling my team mates 'must win' which is our motto. This means that we have to do anything and everything in order to get the next point," she said.
