Jamaican Lecia Brown wins MVP Honors at Group E WCH Qualifier
KINGSTON, Jamaica, November 30, 2012. - Lecia Brown from
Jamaica took the honors as the Most Valuable Player of the
NORCECA Group E First Round Qualification Tournament for the
Women’s 2014 FIVB World Championship.
Brown also took the title for Best Scorer and Best Blocker. Also
from Jamaica were awarded Kamille Dwyer as Best Setter and
Cherie Thompson as Best Libero and Best Digger.
From Barbados, Rhe-Ann Niles was the Best Spiker and Julia Lewis
the Best Receiver. Afraina Amerlaan of Aruba took the title for
Best Server.
The awards and trophies for first, second and third place were
presented by Major Warrenton Dixon, President of the Jamaican
Volleyball Association. |
