Ocasio scores 23 in IBK Altos win over GS Caltex

HWASEONG, Korea, March 29, 2014 – Puerto Rican Karina Ocasio-Malpica scored 23 points as IBK Altos routed GS Caltex 25-18, 25-19, 25-18 in the second match of the best-of-five final series of the Korean Volleyball Women’s League.

With the series now tied at 1-1, the third and fourth matches will be played on March 31 and April 2 in Seoul with GS Caltex as the host team.

Dominican Bethania De la Cruz topped the defeated side with 20 points.

IBK Altos played text-book volleyball with outstanding defense and good offensive balance led by the outside hitter Ocasio-Malpica.
