GUATEMALA, October 19, 2009 – The President of
NORCECA, Mr. Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz is in
Guatemala to head several regional meetings
including the XX NORCECA Congress through
October 23-24.
The Volleyball Continental leader arrived in
Guatemala on Monday night and was greeted at the
Protocol Salon of Aurora Airport by the
President of AFECAVOL, Mrs. Marta Centeno de
Sajche and Mr. Enrique Santis, President of the
Guatemala Volleyball Federation.
“I am looking forward to have a very successful
Congress with the presence of all the members
affiliated to NORCECA,” said Marte Hoffiz. “We
feel very proud of the efforts made by our
friends of Guatemala organizing our meetings.”
The other gatherings scheduled besides the
Congress are the NORCECA’s Executive Committee,
the Pan American Union Executive Committee and
the CAZOVA Congress.
The President of FIVB, Mr. Jizhong Wei, will be
in attendance during the meetings as a special
guest.
