SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, October 4, 2017 – The Puerto Rican Men’s Volleyball League 2017 has been cancelled due to the situation in the island after the devastating impact generated by hurricane Maria in late September.

The cancellation of the competition was confirmed on Tuesday by Dr. Cesar Trabanco, president of the Puerto Rican Volleyball Federation.

The director of the league, Ms. Leyre Santaella Sante made the announcement after she made contact with the managers of Arecibo, Yauco, Adjuntas, Mayaguez and Naranjito.
