Puerto Rican women’s team prepares for Pan Am Cup
SALINAS, Puerto Rico, May 29, 2017 – The Puerto Rican women’s
training team continues working out at the Olympic Village
German Rieckehoff Sampayo in Salinas in preparation for the Pan
American Cup which is their first event of the year to take
place in Peru.
The team has been under physical and technical supervision of
head coach Javier Gaspar and his staff of assistants.
The members of the squad taking part in the training sessions
are Natalia Valentín, Daly Santana, Shara Venegas, Raymariely
Santos, Valeria León, Katherine Santiago, Jocelyn Kuilan,
Jennifer Nogueras, Janeliss Torres, Jennifer Quesada, Génesis
Miranda, Shirley Ferrer, Génesis Collazo, Yeaneska Matos, Noami
Santos, Alba Hernández, Ana Sofía Jusino, Stephany Salas, Pilar
Marie Victoria, Stephanie Enright and Adriana Viñas.
Meanwhile, Herminio Nieves, vice president of the Puerto Rican
Volleyball Federation and manager of the women’s program
announced that Karina Ocasio, the opposite player, will join the
training team on Monday, May 29.
The team will be traveling to Peru on June 15.
