Puerto Rico still hasn't tasted the taste of victory

Arnhem, The Netherlands, September 28, 2022.- The team from the Netherlands handed the team from Puerto Rico the third loss on the sixth day of competition of the Women's Volleyball World Championship.

 

In a match that lasted four sets, the Netherlands defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-15), thus leaving the Puerto Ricans with a negative record of 0-3.

 

A trio of players from the Netherlands Juliet Lohuis, Anne Buijs and Nika Daalderop added 16 points apiece to give their team the victory, while for Puerto Rico Brittany Abercrombie led with 18 points, Karina Ocasio with 15 and Neira Ortiz with 14.

 

In their fourth match, the Puerto Ricans will face the Cameroon national team on September 29.
