Punta Cana Organizers present Comarazamy with a plaque of recognition

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic, September 28, 2018 – The organizers of the Punta Cana Beach Volleyball Tournament presented journalist Roosevelt Comarazamy with a plaque in recognition to his long and fruitful career and his contribution to the growth of the event in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic.

The plaque was presented by Ernesto Veloz, president of the organizing committee, who underlined the career of Comarazamy as one If not the most important sport journalist of the country.

The ceremony took place during the general technical meeting at Sunscape Hotel with all the participant players in attendance.

Comarazamy thanked Veloz for selecting him to receive the homage in the fourth edition of the event.

He said journalists have the opportunity to grow as well as the athletes and encouraged the players to always give 150 percent once they cross the lanes of the court.

Comarazamy was accompanied by his wife Margarita Figueroa de Comarazamy and complied with many request of interviews by TV programs covering the activity.
