Rexona-AdeS outslasts Mirador

ZURICH, Switzerland, May 9, 2015 - With reserve setter Roberta in charge of the game (so as to give Fofao a well-deserved rest), Rexona-AdeS Rio de Janeiro destroyed Mirador Santo Domingo 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-18) to claim first place in Pool A of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.

Joing Rexona-AdeS in qualifying to Saturday's semifinals are Volero Zurich. Mirador will be heading home. Rexona-AdeS and Volero still have to wait for the outcome of the last match of pool play to find out who they'll be playing next.

Despite the necessary changes that Bernardinho had to make, in order to keep the team fresh for the semifnals, Rexona-AdeS had absolutely no trouble disposing of the Caribbean side.

With Gabi and Natalia on the sides and Carol down the middle earning the bulk of the points, the Brazilian side completely overwhelmed the Dominicans including as many as 10 stuffs and six aces.

Final ranking in Pool A: 1. Rexona-AdeS Rio de Janeiro; 2. Volero Zurich; 3. Mirador Santo Domingo.
