Rivera: Player of the Week in PR

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, June 14, 2018 – Jackson Rivera of Gigantes de Adjuntas was elected Player of the Week at the Puerto Rican Men’s Volleyball Superior League.

Over the past week, Rivera scored 36 points, 15 defenses and 40 passes in a total of 8 sets played by his team.

Rivera was one of the two wing-spikers named to the All-Star of the Week.

His teammates Ángel Pérez as setter and middle blocker Pedrito Sierra were also included in the ideal team.

The All-Star is completed by Luis Vega of Naranjito as second wing-spiker, Steve Morales and Jonathan King of Guaynabo as opposite and second middle blocker, respectively, and Pedro Cabrera of Yauco as libero.
