Grupo Murcia 2002 won the title in Benidorm 

BENIDORM, Spain, September 17, 2006.- Grupo Murcia 2002 won the IV Women’s International Volleyball Villa de Benidorm Tournament with a victory over Dominican Republic National Team by score of 25-19, 28-26, 15-25, 25-21.

Dominican Milagros Cabral was elected as the Most Valuable Player of the competition by the vote of the players.

In the match for the bronze medal, Visual Home Benidorm defeated Spar Tenerife 25-14, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21 with the good defensive performance of Vanesa Palacios and the attack of Leyla Chihuan and Daniela Patino.

In the early matches on Saturday, Puerto Rico National Team beat Nova Gorica of Slovenia in straight sets (25-12, 28-26, 25-18) to take the fifth place, and Longa Lichtenvoorde of Netherlands edged the Italian Scavolini de Pesaro 18-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 17-15 in the match for the seventh place.
