Six NORCECA commissions to meet in Santo Domingo next week

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, February 11, 2015 – Six NORCECA commission meetings will take place next week at the headquarters in Santo Domingo, announced Prof. Nelson Ramirez, General Manager of the regional volleyball and beach volleyball governing body.

Those commissions are VIS and Statistics (Feb. 17), Press (Feb. 18), Refereeing (Feb. 19-20), Medical (Feb. 21), Legal (Feb. 22) and Marketing (Feb. 23).

The meetings will have the presence of NORCECA President Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, after the conclusion of all commission’s meetings of FIVB in Lausanne.

Last month, the commissions of Sport Organizing, Beach Volleyball, Development and Technical & Coaches held their annual meetings in Tijuana, Mexico.

The Finance commission meeting is scheduled to be held on April 12 following two days of internal audits.

The Executive and Board of Administration meeting will take place from May 20-23 also in Santo Domingo, Ramirez said.
