St Vincent’s Ronaldo Franklyn pouch Group E MVP


GROS ISLET, St Lucia, August 10, 2017 -  St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Ronaldo Franklyn was named the Most Valuable Player in the men’s Group E of the NORCECA Zone World Championships qualification round for teams in the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA), held at the Beausejour Indoor facility.


 In addition to his top award, Franklyn, was one of two best Outside Hitters.


Gold medallist, St Vincent and the Grenadines secured five other individual awards. Daryl Franklyn won the Best Receiver award; Jahmal Small – Best Setter, also Marcus Thomas- one of two Best Middle Blockers. Asmond Franklyn copped the other award of Best Outside Hitters and Jad Martin won the Best Digger accolade.

The others individual awards  were presented to  Shawn Seabrooks of St  Kitts and Nevis – Best Scorer; Yhan Florent of Dominica, the other Best Middle Blocker, with Yashid Auguiste of Antigua and Barbuda- Best Libero and Jamarie James, also of Antigua and Barbuda- Best Server.
