Successfully concludes Seminar for Middle Blockers

 

TIJUANA, Baja California, July 17, 2013 - The International Seminar for Middle Blockers was successfully concluded in the High Performance Centre of Baja California, where attendees had the opportunity to improve their level of knowledge regarding the tactics and techniques work of this position in volleyball.

 

The closing ceremony took place at the Audiovisual Room of the, where the authorities of the FIVB, NORCECA and INDE chaired the event and presented the awarding diplomas and participation certificates.

 

The participants came from Mexico and other countries such as Haiti, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, British Virgin Islands, Netherlands Antilles, as well as Saint Kitts and Nevis.

 

Octavio Morgan, director of the High Performance Center, and Rodolfo Pineda, director of Physical Culture, represented INDE, Alberto Arreola Sanchez represented NORCECA and FIVB, while supervisor Lisandra Sanchez attended on behalf of the Regional Volleyball Development Center in Dominican Republic Volleyball.

 

The seminar was successful, according to the Spaniard instructor Francisco Hervas, who highlighted the experience he lived during the week with the participant candidates in the course, one of several organized by the Centre for Development as he made a recap of the various activities carried out by the center between 2012 and 2013.
