The resounding Salvador against Nicaragua

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, July 17, 2019 - El Salvador scored a resounding victory of 3 sets to 1 (25-10, 21-25, 25-10 and 25-14) over Nicaragua in the 18th Central American Women's U-20 Championship which takes place in the Gym # 2 Jorge Galeano in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The Salvadoran attack was shared between Daniela López (21 points) Daniela Sánchez (19 points), and Jessica Arias (11 points). For Nicaragua, its captain, Masiel Brenes, returned to shine in the attack with a total of 12 points.

The Salvadorans dominated all areas of the game, in shots at the net (41-26), blocks (6-2) and services (14-3). With this victory, the Salvadorans improve to a record of 1 game won and one lost, while the Nicaraguans lost its second game.
