“Our goal is to get better every day. I hope to get better as a coach tomorrow,” stated Kiraly at the press conference after the match against Kenya. “In this match serving was important, and we worked well with that, but matches get tough every day.”

Erica Wilson and Hayley Hodson contributed with points after a good serving strategy, “It is good to open with a victory, but We have to go one step at a time at this champonship,” said captain Gina Mancuso.

“We made many mistakes, but We expect to improve in our next match. We tried to go out and missed in reception”, said Kenya’s captain Gaudencia Makokha. Despite this result “the competition is a good exposure for all of us”, remarked coach Sammy Mulinge of Kenya.

“We expect to get better slowly, this is a good level competition, we failed in reception and defense, but we faced a really good team,” He added.
