USA sweep Germany in VNL

RIMINI, Italy, June 10, 2021 – United States swept Germany 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 29-27) as the FIVB Men’s Volleyball Nations League actions continued on Thursday.

It was a one-sided match for the first two sets in favor of the Americans but the third and final set was a real battle from start to finish.

Both teams committed 26 errors, but the Americans led in the other scoring categories like attacks (36-24), blocks (11-3) and serves (6-4).

Brenden Sander and Garrett Muagututia each registered 12 points and Kyle Ensing contributed 9 in the win of United States.

Linus Weber was the only German with double digits with 10 points.
