Future Stars Head to Costa Rica for
the 2026 NORCECA Girls' U19 Championship
SAN JOSÉ, Costa
Rica, July 16, 2026. – Nine of NORCECA's top young women's
national teams will gather in Costa Rica for the 2026 NORCECA
Girls' U19 Continental Championship, to be held from July 19 to
24 at the Gimnasio Nacional in San José, where they will compete
for the continental title. The
championship is the region's pathway to the 2027 FIVB Girls' U19
World Championship and a key stage in the development of the
region's most promising young athletes as they progress toward
the senior national team level.

United States Qualify for the VNL Finals, Canada Suffers another
loss
July
16, 2026.- The United States earned a straight-set victory over
Brazil to secure a place in the 2026 Volleyball Nations League (VNL)
Finals, while Canada suffered another heartbreaking five-set loss,
this time against Japan.
United States Secure Their Spot in the VNL Finals
Outside
hitter TJ DeFalco delivered a spectacular performance to lead the
United States in front of their home crowd in Chicago. The Americans
defeated their longtime rivals 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-19), earning
their second victory of the week.
