Shields and Frohling of the United States Crowned Champions in San Salvador

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador, May 31, 2026.- Madison Shields and Hannah Frohling of the United States won the gold medal at the fifth stop of the 2026 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, held at the Flor Blanca Sports Complex in San Salvador. In their first appearance on the NORCECA Tour, Shields/Frohling captured the title, although they had to work hard to defeat Canadians Darby Dunn and Alison McKay 21-19, 25-23. Dunn and McKay were unable to repeat the gold medal performance they achieved a week earlier in Tamaulipas.  More  Español

Mesa Jameson, MVP of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, May 31, 2026. – American opposite hitter Mesa Jameson was honored as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Girls’ U17 Pan American Cup, held May 26–31 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Jameson’s leadership and consistency were decisive in guiding the United States to an undefeated championship title. She also received the Best Receiver award, underscoring her all‑around impact on the team’s success.
