AFECAVOL Begins Its 2026 General Assembly Highlighting Progress and the Projection of Central American Volleyball

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, February 6, 2026. – The Association of Central American Volleyball Federations (AFECAVOL) opened its 2026 General Assembly with the first of two working sessions in Guatemala City, focused on evaluating the activities carried out during 2025 and strengthening the development of volleyball in the region.

AFECAVOL President Félix Sabio officially opened the meeting, highlighting the organization’s sporting growth as well as the progress that consolidates Central America as one of the most dynamic and forward-looking zones within the NORCECA Confederation. More Español .

gnite Power Past Grand Rapids and Remains First in Major League Volleyball with 6-1 Record

FISHERS, Indiana, February 6, 2026.-  A balanced attack throughout the lineup powered the Indy Ignite to their sixth win in seven outings this season, keeping them solidly alone atop the Major League Volleyball standings. Indy put away Grand Rapids in four sets tonight – 25-18, 18-25, 25-17, 25-22 – to close a four-match homestand at Fishers Event Center by winning the final three. At 6-1, it’s the first time in franchise history that the Ignite have been five games above .500.
