Argentina wins the bronze medal against Mexico

Peru is the second finalist after defeating Mexico
TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, Mexico, September 24th 2010.— Peru reached the gold medal match and classified undefeated after winning against Mexico 3-0 (25-13, 25-10-25-15). Mirtha Soriano became the leading scorer with 15 points for Peru, and Carla Rueda Finished with 11. For Mexico Alejandra Isiordia and Seomara Sainz registered 8 points each. The Peruvians will face Dominican Republic in the finals while Mexico will play for the bronze medal against Argentina this saturday. More Español  P-2

Dominican Republic defeats Argentina 3-1 

TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, México, September 22nd 2010.—  Dominican Republic recovered from the loss against Peru and defeated Argentina 3-1 (25-23,  25-27, 25-22, 27-25). The Caribbean ladies and the South Americans faced a very tight start on the net, but the team coached by Marcos Kwiek had a fast recovery to win the first set. Argentina also tried to get back from behind and did it succesfully in the second one by winning it and tying the match 1-1. More Español  P-2

Argentina defeats the host nation in three sets 

TUXTLA GUTIERREZ, México, September 21st 2010.—  Argentina won against Mexico 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-21) in the first match of the host team. Mexico had an explosive start even with good blocking plays despite the argentines’ height and tried to achieve some of the south americans mistakes. But any way, the team coached by Horacio Bastit finished strong the first set. The best performance by the local team came in the third one when Mexico even had an advantage of 11-5  More Español  P-2
