“We had a good game despite going through the pauses for reasons out of the game, the changes were productive and to start winning is important, I am satisfied,” said Guillermo Orduna, coach of Argentina.

“We were able to compete for some moments, Our execution was bad with our reception as they got many direct points with their serves and Argentina got away too far. We always participate in this kind of event to gain experience and improve our game,” said Braulio Godinez, the coach of Argentina.

“We were not able to reach our level, but we pressed with our serves and things came out well even though we lost some rhythm at the start of the second set,” said Paula Nizetich, captain of Argentina.

“In general we were a little nervous but we improved in some points and moments of the sets. Argentina beat us but I feel we were able to make many points and that was good. We will try to do better match by match,” said Irene Fonseca, captain of Costa Rica.
