Brazilian instructor Magda Falcao arrives in Mexico for international course

TIJUANA, Mexico, July 20, 2017 - The prestigious international beach volleyball instructor, Magda Falcao de Lima, arrived in Baja California to direct an International Course that begins on Friday.

Falcao, who was an active part of the workforce of the last Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, met with officials of the FIVB-Norceca Regional Volleyball Development Centre.

The visit of Falcao de Lima is part of the efforts promoted by the Development Centre for the training and preparation of coaches in the North, Central American and Caribbean region.

The course will have attendants from Mexico and other Latin American nations who will look forward to get the best of every session for the next five days of work.

Six years ago, in 2011, Magda Falcao led another international course in these same facilities. On this occasion there will be some innovations and changes, She remarked.

The sessions will be practical and will have reaffirmation of the theoretical work, as this time the aspirants took preliminary modules of basic knowledge online.

The Brazilian instructor made a previous tour of the center's facilities along with Norceca and Baja California Sports Institute authorities and also made held and inspection of the beach volleyball court, where the course workshops will take place.

Also an opening ceremony is expected to begin at 11:30 on Friday.
