Development Center in DR announces 11 Courses in 2018

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, February 17, 2018 – The NORCECA/FIVB Regional Volleyball Development Center in the Dominican Republic have announced its complete program of activities for 2018.

 

Prof. Neslon Ramírez, director of the center founded in 1997, informed that eleven courses are going to be organized, a few of them in collaboration with the Mexican Volleyball Federation.

 

The courses get started with a Refreshment Course for Continental Referees from February 23-25 on the occasion of the annual meeting of the Refereeing Commission of NORCECA.

 

A National Level II Coaches Course will follow on March 9-11 in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic and the Dominican Volleyball Federation.

 

The activities continue with National Refreshment Course for Referees, Scorers and Line Judges from March 16 to 18.

 

An International Coaches Course Level II will take place from June 4 to 7, followed by an International Coaches Course Level I from August 13 to 17.

 

The sixth activity of the year will be an International Course for Physical Education Teachers from August 20 to 23.

 

An International Level II Coaches Course will take place in Mexico from September 26 to 30 followed by Seminar for Trainers and Therapists from October 24 to 26.

 

Am International Coaches Course Level II for Beach Volleyball will be organized in Santo Domingo from October 22 to 26.

 

The last two activities of the year are a Seminar for Service, Reception, Defense and Libero in Mexico capped by a workshop before the Olympic Games for Volleyball and Beach Volleyball from December 3 to 7.
