Great participation to coaches course

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 4, 2019 – About 100 participants hailing from all over the Dominican Republic are taking part in a national course for volleyball coaches under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports, NORCECA Confederation, the Dominican Olympic Committee and the Institute of Physical Education.

The course of four days is organized by the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in Dominican Republic. It includes practical and theoretical sessions.

Nelson Ramirez, the director of the center, said the course forms part of the 2019 program which includes several international courses and seminars.

The instructors of the course are Ariel Sainz of Cuba, Alexander Gutierrez of Venezuela, Marcos Kwiek of Brazil and Wilson Sánchez of Dominican Republic.

The opening ceremony was attended by Jose Luis Ramírez, vice president of the Olympic Committee, Nelson Acevedo, vice director of the Institute of Physical Education and several members of the Dominican Volleyball Federation.
